Geraldo Medina (Willow Street, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) had a great afternoon for West Chester on Saturday, registering a pair of personal-best, top three performances in the field events for West Chester. Medina began his afternoon in the shot put, winning this event with a mark of 44-9 ¾, which also set a new personal-best for the senior. Later in the day, Medina set another new personal-best, this time in the hammer throw, hitting a mark of 149-0, which was a personal-best and PSAC qualifying mark while also being good enough for a second-place finish in the event.
