Sarah Supplee (Orefield, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) competed in the 3K Steeplechase at the 126^th Penn Relays inside Historic Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania on Thursday evening and registered an outstanding 19^th-place finish in a school record time of 10:43.93. competing in a field laden with runners from Division I programs across the nation, as one of just three non-DI student-athletes competing in the event, Supplee registered an amazing performance, registering a time of 10:43.93 seconds, shattering the previous program record of 10:47.35, which had been set by Rachel Hixson in 2002, en route to a 19^th-place finish in the 29-runner field. In addition to setting a new program record, this performance is an improvement upon her NCAA Provisional qualifying mark and currently stands as the fastest time in the PSAC this season and 15^th fastest in all of Division II entering the weekend (17^th fastest after weekend competition).
