Freshman Lexi Brown came off the bench, to notch two game winning second half goals as the Golden Rams women’s soccer team improved to 7-3 on the season 6-3 in the PSAC, currently riding a six game victory streak.

Brown’s goal on Wednesday at home against IUP broke a scoreless tie midway through the second half. She was rewarded for her patience by staying on side and waiting for a through-ball in the middle of the field, from Carly Yost, that sent her in all alone on the keeper. She made no mistake in giving West Chester a 1-0 lead in the eventual 2-0 triumph.

On Saturday Brown scored her third of the season, when she headed in a corner from Lexi Lentz early in the second half to provide the margin of victory, in a 1-0 PSAC win at East Stroudsburg.
