Picked up her third victory of the season in in the shot put, and moved closer to the top spot in school history, with the second longest weight throw in school history, at the Susquehann Indoor Classic on Saturday.

Owens was victorious for the third time this season in the shot put with a toss of 41 feet 10 and a half inch, Christine Johnson placed eighth with a shot of 36 ¾.

Owens set a career long in the weight throw, hurling the weight 47 2 ½, the second farthest toss in school history, and good for third place.

West Chester will travel to New York City on Valentine's Day for the Lafayette/Rider Meet at the Armory Friday.
