Victor Polyakov was named the PSAC Male Swimmer of the Meet. Polyakov was a four-time individual champion, who set a PSAC mark in the 200-yard freestyle on the first night of the championships.

West Chester University claimed its 16th straight and 27th overall Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's swimming championship at the York YMCA Sunday evening. The Golden Rams concluded the 56th PSAC Championships with a school record 1,036 points.

On Thursday, Victor Polyakov set a new conference record in the first event of the night Polyakov touched the wall in 9 minutes, 4.20 seconds, setting a new PSAC mark, and NCAA automatic qualifying time, while taking first-place honors in the 1000-yard freestyle.

On Friday, Polyakov won his second PSAC title in as many days with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle. He touched the wall in 1 minute, 37.36 seconds, which was 0.32 seconds off an NCAA automatic qualifying time.
Polyakov. also played a role on the 400 medley relay winning team, swimming with Luke Maguire  Michael O'Brien, Bogdan Grebenyuk and their winning time was 3:18.22.

On Saturday, Polyakov started the night with his third individual conference title, winning the 500 free with a time of 4:27.31.

West Chester University's 800-yard freestyle relay team closed out day three of competition by setting a new conference record by three seconds. The 800 free relay, consisting of Bradley Strathmeyer, Phil Letcavage, Jared Haley and Victor Polyakov, touched the wall in 6 minutes, 34.66 seconds – outdoing their own school record of 6:37.63, which the foursome set back in November.

On Sunday, Polyakov claimed his fourth individual title of the meet in the 100 free with a time of 44.77, The 400 free relay team of Polyakov, Dan Sokman, Bradley Strathmeyer and Ryan Stahley closed the competition with a winning time of 3:00.08.

West Chester will now train for the NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Championships next month in Ohio.
