SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – West Chester University’s 400 medley relay team of Jackie Borkowski, Kate Jones, Erin Fischer and Megan Bauer set a pool record of 4 minutes, 2 seconds to lead the women’s swimming team to a season-opening 156-97 victory over host Shippensburg Saturday.
The Golden Rams (1-0) women finished first in each of the 15 events Saturday to fuel the win over the Raiders.
Borkowski also set a pool record in the 100 backstroke while winning all four of her events. An all-freshman relay of Jillian Murphy, Erin Fischer, Megan Bauer and Kristen Montello capped the meet with a win in the 200 freestyle relay.
