KUTZTOWN, Pa. - West Chester won eight events en route to a 112-93 victory over host Kutztown in a PSAC men's swimming dual meet Saturday afternoon.
The win was West Chester's second over a PSAC opponent in as many weeks as the Golden Rams remained unbeaten in dual meets within the league. WCU topped Shippensburg one week ago.
Matt Golebiewski was a double winner for the Golden Rams, who jumbled their lineup in the early-season meet. He took first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10 minutes, 1.19 seconds) and the 100 free (48.43). WCU took the top two spots in the latter event with Dan Casey finishing second in 50.86.
Brendan Fanslau won the 500 free (4:56.54) and Bud McClernan won the 200 breaststroke (2:17.51). Rod King took top honors in the 200 individual medley (2:02.59) while Phil Luzny won the 200 butterfly (2:08.34).
West Chester's 200 medley relay and 200 free relay were winners as well.
