WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Megan Musselman registered 12 kills and four digs to lead the host West Chester to a 3-0 sweep over visiting Kutztown Saturday afternoon in a PSAC East volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (20-6, 8-1 PSAC East) solidified its hold on second place and the right to host a postseason match with the 25-18, 25-16 and 25-17 win over Kutztown (15-13, 4-5). The Golden Rams can clinch at least second place with a win at winless Cheyney on Tuesday night.
West Chester kept pace with first-place Lock Haven, who remained undefeated in the conference. The Rams are one game back of the Bald Eagles with a Nov. 4 showdown still on the schedule.
Lisa Yeasted posted 34 assists and two blockes in the win over Kutztown. Kyla Beck recorded a team-high 11 digs. Karly Lotkowski posted five blocks. Lacie Becher registered eight kills.
West Chester travels to Cheyney on Tuesday for a key PSAC East match inside Cope Hall at 7 p.m.
