Adelphi Ends West Chester's Season-Opening Win Streak, 3-1

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - In the second match of the evening on the first day of competition at the Millersville Tournament, West Chester fell to Adelphi, 3-1, in a non-league tilt. The loss snapped the Rams' six-game season-opening winning streak.

West Chester (6-1) took the opening set 29-27, but dropped the next three consecutive sets by scores of 19-25, 12-25 and 24-26.

The Golden Rams return to action on Saturday with a single match scheduled against Dowlling.
