WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University dropped both of its matches Saturday afternoon against Indiana (Pa.) and California (Pa.). Both volleyball matches were identical 3-0 scores at Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (12-10) has lost four of its last five contests as the Golden Rams look to improve their standing in the Eastern Division of the PSAC.
Michelle Powers registered six kills and Brook Foskey five in West Chester’s 25-20, 25-16, 25-15 loss to Cal in the nightcap to the crossover. Helen Fitzpatrick registered 11 assists and seven digs for the Golden Rams. Lisa Campbell posted eight digs while Kyra Yost recorded seven.
In Saturday’s opener, West Chester fell to Indiana (Pa.), 25-18, 25-23, 29-27. Lexi Kegerise continued her hot swinging with 12 kills. Fitzpatrick posted 25 assists and 17 digs. Campbell contributed 13 digs as well. Powers posted nine kills and five blocks. Ashley Focht had eight kills for West Chester.
The Golden Rams host University of the Sciences (USP) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hollinger Field House.
