WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University swept visiting Cheyney, 3-0, in a PSAC women's volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House Tuesday evening.
West Chester (19-13, 6-10 PSAC) has now won six of its last seven while Cheyney (0-19, 0-15) is still in search of its first win on the season.
Kelly Martin led all hitters with eight kills. Ashley Focht, Michelle Powers and Helen Fitzpatrick each posted six kills for the Golden Rams. Fitzpatrick led with 14 assists and registered six service aces and seven digs.
Kyra Yost recorded seven digs and Nora Jingeleski posted seven assists. Alyssa Brown registered five kills. West Chester hit .342 for the match.
West Chester hosts Shepherd University Wednesday evening at Hollinger Field House.
