KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Ralph Hegamin and Kehinde Roberts each scored 18 points, and Kenneth St. George and Sam Scott each notched 13, but host Kutztown proved to be too much for West Chester, 77-67, Wednesday night in a PSAC East men’s basketball tilt at Keystone Hall.
West Chester (15-7, 6-5 PSAC East) remains in the hunt for the final playoff spot in the standings while Kutztown (21-3, 10-1) maintains its hold on first place.
Stephen Dennis scored 26 points, and Dave Ben and Ryan Washington each chipped in 18 for Kutztown.
Hegamin added 14 rebounds to his 18 points.
West Chester returns home on Saturday to face Mansfield at 3 p.m. for the first of a three-game homestand to close out the regular season. Saturday will also be Hall of Fame day at West Chester as seven new members of the WCU Athletics Hall of Fame will be introduced to the community at halftime of the men’s game.
