WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Kutztown's men's tennis team defeated host West Chester, 8-1, in a PSAC East match Tuesday afternoon.
West Chester (2-7) picked up its lone win at No. 4 singles as Alan Day continued his hot streak with a win over Rubens Vianna. Day registered his fifth straight victory with a 6-2 triumph in the first set and then was leading in the second set, 3-2, when Vianna had to retire. Day improved to 5-4 overall on the year and 5-2 at the No. 4 position in singles.
Kutztown (5-2) swept the doubles competition and won the other five singles matches to easily move past the Golden Rams.
