WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester’s men’s tennis squad couldn’t overcome three doubles’ losses at the beginning of the day and fell to visiting Chestnut Hill Academy 6-3 on a breezy Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts.
Jeff Rightnour, Mike Sim, and David Goldenberg were victorious in their single’s matches, however the Golden Rams could not overcome three straight defeats in doubles’ play.
Rigtnour won his match at 1st singles position 6-1, 6-3. Goldenberg won 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 in his singles match in the 4th position. Sim was superior in the 6th singles slot, winning his match 1-6, 6-0, 6-4.
Chestnut Hill took the doubles’ matches by scores of 8-4, 8-2, and 8-6.
