West Chester Heads South On I-95 For Date With Delaware

Game Notes

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University makes its annual trip south on Interstate 95 this Friday night to tangle with Division I FCS rival University of Delaware at Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium on Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Golden Rams (1-0) have not beaten the Blue Hens (0-0) since 1992 and are trying to end the 17-game losing streak. It is the 2009 lid-lifter for Delaware, who is trying to erase the memories of a dismal 4-9 campaign a year ago. The Hens have put their fortunes in the hands of transfer QB Pat Devlin, who grew up in the shadow of West Chester University.

It marks the 52nd meeting in the overall series between the two schools. Delaware owns a commanding 43-6-2 advantage.

West Chester fans can catch all the action live from Delaware Stadium on the school's student radio station 91.7 WCUR-FM or on Red Zone Media at www.redzonemedia.com.
