WILMINGTON, Del. - Renata Neal posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds and West Chester University shot a whopping 56.7 percent from the field as the visiting Golden Rams topped host Wilmington (Del.) University, 82-64, in a non-league women's basketball tilt Wednesday night inside Pratt Gymnasium.
West Chester (9-2) picked up its second straight win in the makeup of a game originally snowed out on Dec. 21 against Wilmington (5-7).
Janelle Garber led West Chester with 17 points. Dominique Adams and Natalie Winters each contributed nine points as well.
The Golden Rams shot 46.7 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and led 42-31 at halftime.
Wilmington was paced by Amelia Simmons' 22 points. Simmons was 9-for-17 from the floor.
West Chester returns home on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tilt with Mercyhurst College at Hollinger Field House.
