EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Lisa Campbell recorded 33 digs and Helen Fitzpatrick registered 40 assists to lead visiting West Chester University to a 3-0 win over homestanding East Stroudsburg in a PSAC East women’s volleyball match inside Kohler Fieldhouse Friday afternoon, 25-19, 25-15, 29-27.
West Chester (12-3, 3-3 PSAC) won its fifth straight match and evened its record in conference play. East Stroudsburg fell to 5-14 overall and 1-7 in the league. The Golden Rams have a showdown at Lock Haven on Saturday between the two schools tied for first place in the Eastern Division.
Fitzpatrick added 14 digs, four kills and three blocks to her 40 assists. Michelle Powers and Lexi Kegerise led the Golden Rams with 13 kills each. Julie Boblits added six kills and Allison Grammar four. Powers also had five blocks.
