Volleyball Falls At Lock Haven, 3-2

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
- Lock Haven came from behind in the fifth set to earn a 3-2 victory over visiting West Chester in a pivotal Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's volleyball match between teams tied for first place in the Eastern Division Saturday afternoon.
 
West Chester (12-4, 3-4 PSAC) fell into third place behind Kutztown while Lock Haven (9-6, 4-3) remained in first place in the East.
 
Michelle Powers led the Golden Rams with 13 kills and three blocks while Julie Boblits posted nine kills and three blocks in the loss. West Chester held a lead in the fifth and deciding match. However, Lock Haven came back to tie things up at 11-apiece, before taking the final set, 15-13. The rest of the scoring was as follows: 12-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 13-15. West Chester rallied from two sets down to force the deciding set.
 
Helen Fitzpatrick posted 29 assists and recorded six service aces. Dana Markol registered three service aces as well.
 
Lisa Campbell notched 28 digs while Nora Jingeleski had 18 digs and Tyler Scheafer 10.
 
West Chester is back in action on Tuesday at home at Hollinger Field House in a non-league match against Georgian Court.
