CHEYNEY, Pa. - Jamie Hughes had nine kills and Alyssa Brown eight to lead West Chester to a 3-0 sweep over host Cheyney in a PSAC women's volleyball match inside Cope Hall Friday night.
West Chester (18-9, 6-9 PSAC) have now won four of its last six contests and swept the season series over Cheyney (1-19, 0-14). The Golden Rams took the match by scores of 25-8, 25-11 and 25-4.
Hannah Sweitzer recorded 13 assists while Dana Markol and Tyler Schaefer each posted six digs. Ashley Focht registered six kills as well.
West Chester travels to Lincoln Saturday morning for an 11 a.m. non-league tilt.
