BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Kenny McCormick was a double winner for West Chester University, and Jon Brittian won the 3-meter diving competition, but it was not enough to overcome Division I foe Lehigh at Jacobs Pool on Saturday morning.
Patriot League participant Lehigh won 12 events en route to the 190-110 victory.
McCormick captured first place in the 400-yard Individual Medley with a clocking of 4 minutes, 12.13 seconds. He also won the 200 butterfly in 1:56.78.
Freshman Ryan Stahley won the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.61 seconds. Brendan Magarity won the 200 backstroke (1:57.17) as well.
Brittian won the 3-meter springboard diving competition with a score of 265.58. He was second in the 1-meter event with a score of 230.85.
West Chester travels to PSAC rival Bloomsburg next Saturday at 1 p.m. for a dual meet with the Huskies to close out the first month of the 2010-11 campaign.
