BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The West Chester University men's swimming team defeated Bloomsburg by a score of 163-99 Saturday afternoon.
Seniors Brendan Magarity, Bud McClernan, and Kenny McCormick were all double-event winners for the Golden Rams. Magarity won the 200-yard backstroke in 1 minute, 57.22 seconds and the 200 Individual Medley in 2:02.66. McClernan captured both the 100 breaststroke (1:00.40) and the 200 breaststroke (2:14.74) while McCormick won the 500 freestyle (4:48.89) and the 200 free (1:48.98).
Other event winners included: senior Kevin Moyer in the 100 back (54.45) and freshman Ryan Stahley in the 100 free (48.85). The team of Kenny McCormick, Phil Letcavage, Kevin Moyer and Tommy Rhoads won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:18.25.
