West Chester Football Preps For Prime Time Showdown On Thursday Night

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's football team battles defending PSAC champion Shippensburg University under the bright lights in prime time Thursday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. at John A. Farrell Stadium. The game can be seen live on CBS College Sports Network. Check your local listings for stations in your area. 

Veteran play-by-play announcer Jason Knapp and former NFL linebacker Akbar Gbaja-Biamila will call the action for CBS College Sports Network. Knapp covered the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse championship game last May, which featured West Chester vs. Adelphi.

CBS College Sports Network's broadcast will also be picked up by Comcast in Philadelphia. Comcast Cable subscribers can watch the game on The Comcast Network (TCN). Check local listings for station in your area. The game will also be broadcast live on SportsSouth, Metro Sports, KPCN-TV in Amarillo, Texas and will be aired tape-delayed by Fox Sports-Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.
