WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Helen Fitzpatrick registered 28 assists in the first match of the afternoon to help West Chester to a 3-0 victory over Chestnut Hill. Michelle Powers recorded a double-double in the second match of the day to lead the Golden Rams to a 3-1 win over New York Tech.
Fitzpatrick also chipped in six aces and six digs to help the Golden Rams remain unbeaten on the year (6-0). Lexi Kegerise registered 10 kills in that win over Chestnut Hill. Powers had six kills. Dana Markol had three aces.
Powers was credited with 16 kills and 10 digs in the victory over NYIT. She also had six blocks. Julie Boblits posted a double-double of her own with 10 kills and 15 digs in the match. Fitzpatrick posted 24 assists. Lisa Campbell registered a match-high 20 digs.
West Chester continues the Ram Fest Saturday with matches against Post and Barton.
