WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Lexi Kegerise led West Chester with six kills in each contest. However, the host Golden Rams dropped a pair of PSAC crossover matches by identical 3-0 scores against Mercyhurst and Edinboro on Saturday afternoon at Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (7-3, 0-3) dropped all three Western Division crossover matches this weekend, coupled with a 3-1 loss to Gannon on Friday night.
Helen Fitzpatrick posted a double-double with 15 assists and 11 digs in the nightcap against Edinboro. However, the Fighting Scots claimed the win by scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-23. In the opener, Mercyhurst was a 25-17, 25-14, 25-17 winner. Fitzpatrick added 13 assists and five digs in that match.
Lisa Campbell contributed 11 digs in each match as well.
West Chester returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 21 for its PSAC Eastern Division opener against Cheyney at 7 p.m. at Hollinger Field House.
