PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Michelle Powers and Kelly Martin each recorded 12 kills, and Lisa Campbell registered 25 digs to lead visiting West Chester to a 3-1 victory over host Holy Family in a non-league women's volleyball contest Wednesday evening.
West Chester improved to 9-3 while Holy Family fell to 5-7.
The Golden Rams won by scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-16 and 25-13. After recording a negative hitting percentage in game one, West Chester rebounded with a solid performance the rest of the night to sweep the next three games.
Lexi Kegerise posted eight kills for the Golden Rams. Martin contributed five blocks as well. Helen Fitzpatrick registered 35 assists and four blocks. Tyler Shaefer posted 13 digs, and Dana Markol and Nora Jingeleski each had 10 digs.
West Chester travels to Kutztown on Saturday.
