SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - West Chester's men's soccer program dropped a 3-1 decision at Shippensburg on Saturday afternoon.
Neil Gallagher scored unassisted for the Golden Rams to cut a 2-0 lead in half. However, it was not enough for the visitors. Shippensburg (8-4-2, 3-3-2 PSAC) scored four minutes apart in the first half to take a 2-0 lead by halftime. Gallagher added his tally in the 59th minute. But, the Raiders scored again a few minutes later to put the game out of reach.
Garrett Bleiler made six saves in goal for West Chester, playing the first 72 minutes. Kevin Marron made one save the rest of the way and did not allow a goal.
