Men's Swimming Dumps Bloomsburg, 114-80

WEST CHESTER, Pa.
- West Chester University's men's swimming team defeated visiting Bloomsburg, 114-80, at Graham Natatorium Friday evening.

Jared Haley was a double winner in the 100-yard freestyle and the 200 while teammate Tommy Rhoads won the 200 individual medley and swam a leg of the 400 medley relay winning squad. West Chester won seven events overall on Friday to secure the win over its PSAC rival.

Haley touched the wall in 48.87 seconds in the 100 free and touched out in 1:45.60 in the 200 free. Rhoads posted a time of 1:58.76 in the 200 IM. The 400 medley relay team registered a time of 3:37.89. Phil Letcavage, J.J. Rudisill and Mike Westley made up the other three legs of that relay.

Adam Keup won the 1000 free in a time of 10:19.70, and Alex Muraro was the winner in the 50 free (22.16). Calvin Starosta led three WCU swimmers to the finish line in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.59. Letcavage was second in 2:01.82 and Connor Murphy was third in 2:04.46.

West Chester has the next few weeks off to prepare for the Terrapin Cup at the University of Maryland Nov. 17-18.
