WEST CHESTER, Pa. - IUP's Harvie Tuck rushed for 134 yards, leading the Crimson Hawks to a 34-7 victory over host West Chester University in the season finale inside John A. Farrell Stadium Saturday afternoon. Tuck eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing on the year with his 134-yard performance Saturday.
IUP (7-3) ran up 412 yards of total offense while holding West Chester (5-6) to just 193, including only 34 yards on the ground.
LaRonn Lee (3 catches, 48 yards) caught a 7-yard TD pass from Sean McCartney, with 7:19 remaining in the first quarter, to tie the game at 7-7 early on. However, IUP rattled off 24 consecutive points the rest of the way to put the game out of reach.
Ronell Williams led the defensive effort with a game-high 12 tackles. Eric Edwers was in double figures as well with 10 stops. Anthony McCloskey had nine for the Golden Rams.
