WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University rallied from two sets down to record a come-from-behind, 3-2, victory over Holy Family at the Marauder Clash hosted by Millersville University Friday afternoon.
West Chester fell in the first two sets by scores of 22-25 and 25-27. However, the Golden Rams regrouped to capture the next three sets consecutively, 25-21, 25-20 and 15-12.
Senior setter, Helen Fitzpatrick, registered 44 assists, setting up Julie Boblits for a team-high 14 kills. Junior Lexi Kegerise notched 13 kills and a pair of solo blocks. Cara Reese posted four kills and six blocks for the Golden Rams as well.
Senior libero Lisa Campbell recorded 32 digs and produced four aces on the match.
West Chester (1-0) takes on PSAC West foe Slippery Rock at 5 p.m. in its second match of the day.
