Football Drops Heartbreaker To New Haven In OT, 35-32

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Shawn Leo set a school record by kicking four field goals in a game, including a 30-yarder in overtime. However, host New Haven scored a touchdown on their OT possession to claim a 35-32 non-league victory over West Chester at DellaCamera Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore QB Sean McCartney was 14-for-28 for 179 yards, and Matt Carroll was 9 of 11 for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Golden Rams. Jackson Fagan caught seven passes for 79 yards and rushed for one score. LaRonn Lee caught an 11-yard pass from Carroll for another TD.
