BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Ryan Stahley posted an individual win and a relay win while also placing second to lead West Chester University’s men’s swimming team to a 147-115 victory over Bloomsburg on the road Friday evening.
Stahley won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.84 seconds and placed runner-up in the 100 butterfly to teammate Luke Maguire. He also helped the 400 free relay team to a win in the final event of the meet. Phil Letcavage, who won the 1000 free earlier in the meet, placed third in the 100 fly behind Maguire and Stahley as the Golden Rams claimed the top three spots in that race.
West Chester also claimed the top three spots in the 500 free as Jared Haley beat teammates Bradley Strathmeyer and Vinny Termin to the wall in 4 minutes, 46.69 seconds. Strathmeyer clocked a 4:52.30 while Termin finished in 4:55.33.
The 400 medley relay was the seventh and final first-place finisher for the Golden Rams in the meet.
The men will be back in the pool Nov. 16-18 when they compete at the Rutgers Invitational.
