EDINBORO, Pa. - West Chester University's women's volleyball squad defeated host Edinboro, 3-0, in a PSAC crossover match inside McComb Fieldhouse Friday.
West Chester (11-10, 2-5 PSAC) won by scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-20 over Edinboro (5-13, 3-4).
The Golden Rams put three players in double figures in digs, posting 67 for the match. Lexi Kegerise had 16 digs while Dana Markol had 15 and Morgan Litak 10. Mary Faust added 16 assists while Tori Hutchinson had 12.
Cara Reese led all hitters with nine kills. Kegerise chipped in eight. West Chester hit .258 for the match, including a .323 mark in the opening set, while limiting the Fighting Scots to just an .047 percentage.
West Chester continues its west swing Saturday with matches against Gannon and Mercyhurst in Erie, Pa.
