KUTZTOWN, Pa. – No. 4 West Chester and host Kutztown played to a 0-0 tie in a PSAC women’s soccer contest Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (10-0-1, 7-0-1 PSAC) fired off 26 shots to Kutztown (7-4-1, 6-2-1) eight and completely dominated the action. However, the Bears defense held as their goalkeeper was credited with 14 saves in the tie.
The Golden Rams’ goalkeeper Shannon Fedyk saved a penalty kick in the game to preserve the tie for the visitors. The tie ends a 10-game winning streak by West Chester to open the season. The Rams are still unbeaten on the year and sitting atop the PSAC standings with 22 points.
