KUTZTOWN, Pa. – West Chester women's volleyball split a pair of matches at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crossovers held in Kutztown Saturday.
The Golden Rams (11-12, 3-10 PSAC East) were 3-0 winners over Indiana, (Pa.) (7-17, 4-9 PSAC West) in the opener, and fell to Clarion (23-1, 12-1 PSAC West) in the night cap.
Allison Grammer and
Julia O'Brien led the way with 11 kills each in the West Chester victory over IUP (27-25, 26-24, 25-18).
Samatha Agostini dished out 25 assists, and
Mandy Flynn added 16.
Callie Krajcir keyed the defense with 21digs, and
Tyler Sheafer aided the cause with 13.
Clarion completed the weekend 4-0, finishing with a (25-17, 25-14, 25-14) win over the Golden Rams.
West Chester returns home on Friday at 7 p.m. against Kutztown, for its first PSAC home match of the season. Saturday the Golden Rams host East Stroudsburg at 2 p.m.
