SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - West Chester University's women's soccer dropped a frustrating 1-0 decision on the road at Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (10-6, 9-6 PSAC) lost for the second time in two days, after falling to California, Pa. on Friday afternoon.
Slippery Rock's Alison Harbart scored her second goal of the season in the 65th minute for the game's lone goal.
Alex Srolis made two saves in 65 minutes of action in goal for West Chester. She surrendered Harbart's goal. She was injured, and Madi Mitchell came on and went the rest of the way without allowing a goal.
Each side attempted seven shots and each side had a pair of corner kick opportunities.
West Chester will conclude its regular-season on Nov. 2 at home against Edinboro on Senior Day.
