EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Julia O'Brien led the way with 12 kills and seven blocks as West Chester University defeated East Stroudsburg University 3-1 in PSAC East action Friday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Golden Rams (15-17, 7-14 PSAC) hit .154 in the first set in securing a 25-20 opening set victory.
East Stroudsburg (6-27, 2-20 PSAC) hit at a .333 clip in capturing the second set and evening the match.
The Golden Rams rebounded to hit .233 in the third and held the Warriors to a breakeven .000 to take a two sets to one lead 25-20.
West Chester closed out the victory with a 25-22 win in the fourth.
Mandy Flynn dished out 14 assists and had seven digs. Tori Hutchinson led the Golden Rams with 16 assists.
Tyler Sheafer led the way with 15 digs and Callie Kracjir had 14.
The Golden Rams finish out the regular season at Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
