WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Julia O'Brien led West Chester with eight kills while Tori Hutchinson notched 15 assists, and Dana Markol had 11 digs to lead the Golden Rams to a 3-0 sweep over visiting Cheyney in a PSAC women's volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House Tuesday evening.

West Chester (14-15, 6-12 PSAC East) needed the win to remain in the postseason race while Cheyney (5-24, 0-19) is still in search of its first conference win. The Golden Rams took the match by scores of 25-15, 25-8 and 25-11.

Allison Grammer, Allie Griswold and Marina Sharkey each contributed six kills to the offensive effort. Mandy Flynn added 10 assists to Hutchinson's 15 as well. The Golden Rams hit at .310 for the evening while the Wolves hit just -.143.

West Chester returns to action on Friday, Nov. 8 inside Hollinger Field House for a 7 p.m. match with Lock Haven.
