Men's Tennis Finishes Season With 9-0 Win Over Eastern

WEST CHESTER, Pa.
- West Chester University's men's tennis squad finished up its 2012-13 campaign with a 9-0 win over Eastern University Thursday afternoon on South Campus. The Golden Rams conclude the season with a 10-10 overall record.

West Chester ended its season with a record at .500 for the first time in head coach Tina Tharp's tenure. Along the way, the Rams won the regular-season title and reached the PSAC semifinals in the postseason. Senior Day for the Golden Rams featured a "senior-laden" lineup and the fourth-year students did not disappoint.

Wanzell Flemming wrapped up the match with a win at sixth singles. He also teamed up with usual partner Cody Leimback at second doubles for a win on Thursday. Flemming was a 6-0, 6-0 winner in singles while he and Leimback were 8-0 winners in doubles.

Luan Kichen was a three-set winner at first singles. Andrew Peterson was a winner at second singles while Brandon Oyama was a winner at third singles. David Goldenberg won at fourth singles, and Steve Hlava won at fifth singles. Second thru Sixth singles were all straight-set winners.
