White and Williams Receive More Preseason Praise

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University dynamic duo of senior RB Rondell White and junior MLB Ronell Williams were heaped with more preseason praise as the two All-PSAC stars were named USA College Football Division II Pre-Season All-Americans it was announced Monday.

White, who was a first-team selection, was also a preseason All-America selection by Lindy's Sports college football preview magazine as an all-purpose back. Williams, an honorable mention pick, was an AFCA first team All-America pick at the end of last season. The Golden Rams (7-4, 4-3 PSAC East) were picked to finish in third place in the PSAC preseason coaches' poll released Monday at Media Day.

White broke the school's single-season rushing record last fall with 1,548 yards rushing. He was the second-leading rusher in the PSAC behind Bloomsburg's Franklyn Quietah. White led all Division II in all-purpose yards per game a year ago, averaging 200.2 all-purpose yards per game. He scored 18 touchdowns as well.
