SPARKILL, N.Y. - West Chester University's men's tennis squad swept the doubles play and then picked up wins at fourth, second and fifth singles to come away with a 7-2 victory on the road over St. Thomas Aquinas Friday morning.
West Chester (2-0) remains unbeaten on the year with the win over St. Thomas Aquinas.
Connor Dunn got a 6-4, 6-4 win at second singles to clinch the match for the Golden Rams. He also teamed up with Chaz Irwin at second doubles for an 8-4 win. Pat McGinley, Andrew Peterson and J.J. Cooke were also winners for the Golden Rams in singles play.
Jared Howat and Cody Leimbeck teamed up at first doubles for a win while Peterson and Lars Kristiansen were winners at third doubles.
