Box Score CHEYNEY, Pa. - Julia O'Brien (Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) posted a game-high 18 kills and added seven blocks as visiting West Chester downed host Cheyney, 3-0, in a PSAC women's volleyball contest inside Cope Hall Tuesday evening.
West Chester (18-11, 8-10 PSAC) moved into sole possession of third place with the win over Cheyney (1-26, 0-18) as a result of Shippensburg's loss to Millersville. The Golden Rams swept the match by scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-21.
Annalee Halbert (Port Murray, N.J./West Morris Catholic) recorded 19 assists with Macon Frey (Chesapeake, Va./Great Bridge) added 14 digs. Lyndsey Iacobelli (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) led the Rams with 21 digs.
West Chester heads to Lock Haven and Pitt-Johnstown Friday and Saturday.
