Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Julia O'Brien (Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) led West Chester with 17 kills while
Karleigh Lutz (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and
Cara Reese (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) each added 13 apiece, but it was not enough as homestanding Lock Haven defeated the visiting Golden Rams, 3-2, in a PSAC volleyball match Friday evening.
West Chester (18-13, 8-12 PSAC) took division-leading Lock Haven (18-10, 12-8) to the full five sets for the first time since 2010. However, the Golden Rams, who held a 2-1 advantage after the third set, could not finish out the match as the Lady Eagles improved to 26-0 all-time against WCU by winning sets four and five. LHU claimed the victory with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 16-25, 25-22 and 15-8.
After rallying for the win in set four to tie things up at 2-apiece, Lock Haven opened the fifth set with six straight points and never looked back. West Chester doubled up the Lady Eagles over the next nine points at, 6-3, but the early deficit was too much to overcome. The 9-6 edge for LHU was as close as the Rams would get the rest of the way.

Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) led the Golden Rams with 29 digs.
West Chester returns to action on Saturday with a match at Pitt-Johnstown, who the Golden Rams defeated earlier in the season in Hollinger Field House.
