Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Nicholas Tucci (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) recorded his first college goal, but it was not enough as visiting Wilmington (Del.) downed host West Chester, 2-1, in a non-league men's soccer match Friday afternoon at Rockwell Field.
West Chester (1-2) had knotted the score at 1-1 on Tucci's marker just before halftime. However, the Wildcats (2-1) responded with the only goal of the second half to pull out the win.
Phil Horan (Freehold, N.J./Freehold) made four saves in a losing effort for West Chester. Frank Hall played the first half for Wilmington in goal and made one save. Zach Lee came on in the second half and picked up the win in net.
West Chester takes on Queen's College (NY) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
