Tommy Ryan (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown) scored a goal and assisted on another to lead host West Chester to a 3-0 non-conference men's soccer victory over visiting Queens (NY) Sunday afternoon.

West Chester (2-2) split its weekend affairs for the second straight week with the win. Queens (0-2) is still in search of its first win of the season.

Max Adarkwah (Accra, Ghana/Phelps School (Pa.)) broke a scoreless tie when he headed in an entry pass from Ryan just two minutes before halftime.
Miguel Ross (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) then leaped to kick a high ball into open space in front of him and broke in on Queens' goalkeeper all alone in the 72nd minute to double the hosts' lead.

Ryan found the side netting from 22 yards out in the 89th minute to cap the scoring for the Golden Rams.

Matt Palmer (1-1) went the distance in goal for West Chester, making a pair of saves. Robbie Webster made one save for Queens.

West Chester heads out the western part of the state this coming weekend with a pair of games against Mercyhurst and Gannon in Erie, Pa.
