The Golden Rams (6-8, 4-5 PSAC) led in the early stages of the first half, but could hold on as the Crimson Hawks (12-2, 6-2) would grab 21 rebounds for 36 points and an 11-point lead at the half.

IUP could not hold down the Golden Rams bench from scoring 34 points, but would get the necessary bounces to go its way with turnovers, second-chance points and fast break buckets to push the lead to 21 at one point.

Mike Wilson (Philadelphia, Pa./Martian Luther King) led the Golden Rams with 17 points, shooting 7-for-8 from the free-throw line down the stretch with three steals.

Tyrell Long (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) posted a career-high 16 points while going 7-for-10 from the field, including a steal and turning it into a breakaway dunk. He also had five rebounds and three steals.
Cory Blake (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) rounded out the double-digit scoring with 13.

IUP put all five starters in double figures in the winning effort. Shawn Dyer scored a team-high 21 points to go with nine rebounds. Devante Chance had 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals. Branden Norfleet scored 16 points as well, while Daddy Ugbede scored 12 points to go with nine rebounds. Jeremy Jeffers contributed with 10 points from an 80-percent shooting day in the victory.

The Golden Rams will try to rebound on a two-game road trip against Seton Hill on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and at Bloomsburg on Saturday at 3 p.m.
