Box Score KUTZTOWN, Pa. – West Chester University used a balanced attack to win its second straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference road volleyball match 3-0, over host Kutztown University Saturday afternoon inside Keystone Arena.
Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) registered 14 kills to pace West Chester (14-4, 2-4 PSAC) to its third consecutive win by scores of 25-13 25-17, 25-17 over the Golden Bears (3-13, 1-5 PSAC).
Freshmen
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle) recorded nine kills as did
Samantha Agostini (Broomall, Pa. / Cardinal O' Hara) and (
Marina Sharkey Broomall, Pa. / Cardinal O' Hara) added eight.
Sophomore
Lyndsey Iacobelli (Allentown, Pa. / Parkland) was credited with a team-high 17 digs and three aces.
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) registered 15 digs with two aces and
Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa. / Parkland) had nine digs.
Once again
Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) led the Golden Rams with 34 assists, while adding three kills and nine digs.
West Chester returns to action on Wednesday evening when it travels to crosstown rival Cheyney University for another PSAC battle at 7 p.m.
