Annalee Halbert (Port Murray, N.J./West Morris Central) registered 36 assists while
Tori Cruciani (Phoenixville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) posted 10 kills and three blocks to lead West Chester to a 3-0 sweep over host Cheyney in a PSAC women's volleyball match inside Cope Hall Tuesday evening.
West Chester (15-4, 3-4 PSAC) recorded its third straight three-set sweep over a conference opponent, dating back to last weekend. Cheyney (1-13, 0-7) is still in search of its first win within the conference. The Golden Rams won the match by scores of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-4.
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) had 19 digs to lead the Golden Rams in that category.
Jordan Brown (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) led the Rams with five blocks.
Karleigh Lutz (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) chipped in nine kills in support of Cruciani's team-high 10.
Abbie Dischert (Wilmington, Del./Concord) added seven.
Since dropping four straight matches out west during the first crossover, West Chester has rebounded with four 3-0 sweeps. This weekend, the Golden Rams visit PSAC East rivals Shippensburg and Millersville on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
