Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) posted a double-double, and West Chester hit .241 for the match, to lead the host Golden Rams to a 3-0 sweep over visiting Pitt-Johnstown in a PSAC East women's volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (24-9, 12-9 PSAC) pulls to within one game of third-place Lock Haven with the win while Pitt-Johnstown (26-5, 17-3) dropped its second straight match to the Golden Rams inside Hollinger Field House. The Mountain Cats have not beaten West Chester in Hollinger since 2013. West Chester will host Lock Haven Saturday afternoon on Senior Day for a chance to tie the Lady Eagles for third place on the final day of the regular season.

The Golden Rams took the match by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20.

West Chester, which has won three of the last five matches between the two schools, registered 67 digs and six blocks in playing spectacular defense in its half of the court and limiting the 'Cats to an .077 hitting percentage in the three sets.

Grammer dished out a team-high 32 assists while recording 14 digs. She also added a kill. Her older sister, Molly, led the Golden Rams with 11 kills. However, freshman
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) knocked down 10 kills and hit .571 in the match.
Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) posted nine kills while
Samantha Agostini (Broomall, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) added seven, along with five assists.

West Chester will return to the court inside Hollinger Field House for one last time in 2015 on Saturday. The Golden Rams will honor their four seniors playing in their final game in front of the home crowd. Despite the loss, UPJ still has wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Division while Shippensburg is still locked in at No. 2.
