Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) posted 13 kills, and
Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) added 41 assists, as host West Chester swept visiting Lock Haven, 3-0, in a PSAC East women's volleyball contest inside Hollinger Field House Saturday afternoon.

West Chester (25-9, 13-9 PSAC) pulled into a tie for third place with Lock Haven (21-12, 13-9) in the conference standings as a result of the victory. Needing to sweep the Lady Eagles to claim the tie-breaker scenario, the Golden Rams did exactly that while picking up its first win over Lock Haven in school history, ending a 27-match winning streak in the process.

West Chester took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-23, 25-17 and 25-19. The sweep followed an even-more impressive three-set sweep of PSAC East regular-season champion Pitt-Johnstown Friday night. Both sweeps were instrumental in helping the Rams acquire the No. 3-seed in the upcoming postseason tournament.

The Golden Rams will travel to second-seeded Shippensburg on Tuesday in the first round of the PSAC Tournament for a 7 p.m. match. West Chester and Shippensburg split their regular-season series with each winning on the road.

Saturday also served as Senior Day for four Golden Rams, who closed out their college careers inside Hollinger Field House.
Samantha Agostini (Broomall, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) had six kills in her final home match while
Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) had 11 kills.
Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) tallied eight kills, and
Mandy Flynn (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) served up an ace to close out the match and clinch the win.
