Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) registered 22 kills, but it was not enough as host Shippensburg earned a 3-2 victory over visiting West Chester in a PSAC Women's Volleyball Quarterfinal Round match inside Heiges Field House Tuesday evening.

West Chester (25-10) must now wait until next Monday to see if the NCAA Selection Committee will grant the Golden Rams their first ever trip to the national tournament. Shippensburg (28-8) advances to the PSAC Semifinals, which will be played this weekend in Johnstown, Pa.

West Chester opened the playoff match with a strong showing in the first set. However, Shippensburg responded with two solid sets to take a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-five format. The Golden Rams rallied to tie the match at two sets apiece. But, the Raiders came out of the gate strong in the fifth and deciding set, taking the match by scores of 19-25, 25-16, 25-16, 20-25 and 15-6.

Samantha Agostini (Broomall, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) was the only other Golden Rams player in double figures for kills. She finished with 10 on the evening.
